sore throat, deeper voice, lump in neck.

- not there yet -

first three weeks we’re a breeze until we hit 4th week. she felt nauseous, blisters in her throat, mouth, and then when we hit the 5th week her skin broke open on the outside. from the bottom of her ears, to her chest. this is from june til july 9th 08

fatigue, nauseous, loss of hair, very very weak.

My worked in a nursing home that she worked for, for 7 years as a caregiver. they became like family to her, and I. ( i work there now) that they dedicated nursing home week to her and raised money for her. it was so unexpected but brought tears to our eyes.

Dear Rachel; Everything seems to be working just fine. Don’t give up on this site as you will see how important it will become to you over time. Your journey is just beginning but you will see how much soul there is here and that people really understand and care what you are going through. It is also a place that allows us to be more free to just vent. It’s sometimes hard to do that to family and friends as their expectatations are high and really I think most of us try to put on the brave act so noone feels uncomfortable. Well bully for us huh. We all become great actors when faced with a Cancer challenge so on we trudge, brave faced and yes a little bit phoney. Not here though. We can really speak the Cancer truth and not be judged. Please keep us posted on your progress and treatments. You will see how suporters will jump in to give you come encouragement. (I did). Take care. Weezie
